1. It was at Chimney Rock, my favorite place to eat!
2. The 10th storm of the season (it may not have been number 10, but we all lost count this winter) turned out to be mostly rain, so it didn't hamper anyone's travel plans.
3. I was going to get to see my Aunts and Cousins who I missed seeing at Thanksgiving. They drove in from Vermont and North Carolina, and we had a fantastic time getting our nails done before the shower.
4. I was finally going to be able to stop panicking about not having anything ready for the baby. (I promptly began panicking about what I was supposed to do with all of this baby stuff!)
My Aunt Karen (who is like Martha Stewart but even better) brought all of the decor for the forest themed shower.

Then my favorite, a family tree. What you can't see in this photo is that each leaf has the thumbprint and name of a family member. So creative it should be in a magazine! Thanks Aunt Karen (told you she was Martha Stewart!)
